Summer is here! The season of getting rid of the unnecessary layers, the time of stylish sleeveless outfits, shorts, and not to forget, the lovely summer dresses. But the biggest blunders in fashion also happen during summers. But with us to assist, you need not worry about all these things.
All you need to do is follow some thumb rules of summer dressing, and enjoy it without a worry of getting your white shirt transparent, or not being fashion updated, because summers.
1. Wearing synthetic clothes
Summer is the time of flowy georgettes, light cottons, cool linens, and khadi. Stay away from rayon, polyester, and other synthetic fabrics.

2. Accessory overload
No matter what occasion it is, try to avoid wearing too heavy and too many accessories during the summers. If it’s your own, or a very close one’s wedding though, try to accessorise as light as possible.
Once you wear those extra accessories, everything takes a wrong turn in your summer dressing up game.
You can wear light statement jewellery like this:
Artificial jewellery has more chances of irritating the skin; choose gold and other precious metals, which looks better, and feels better as well.
3. Sunglasses indoors
Regardless of how cool it may look, and how much in-trend it is, wearing sunglasses indoors is never a classy fashion idea.
Sunglasses look best when they are justified:
4. Clothes that are too tight or too loose
Summers are not here for suffering. Make your summer as comfortable as you can, with cool, flowy, light clothes. Stay away from anything too loose or too tight.
5. Wrong inner with that cute flimsy white top
Flimsy white tops look amazing in the summers. But the worst thing you could do to this look is not wear the correct inner. Matching as it may sound, white is the most wrong choice. Wear a nude, or skin colour slip inside white tops, and it would give you the perfect look and save the embarrassment of visible inners.
6. Wearing blingy and embellished clothes directly
If you are wearing embellished clothes, get a thin inner to wear under it, so that the embroidery or stonework doesn’t rub against your skin and create rashes. Also, a thin inner will soak the sweat and save your heavy party wear outfits.
7. Wearing that favourite, very pretty, but thick material saree
We know you love wearing your favourite dress. But please don’t wear it if it is made of a thick material like rayon. If it’s something like crepe, silk, or Chanderi, go for it without a second thought.
Look at this summer friendly, yet gorgeous saree!
8. The wrong footwear selection
Our feet are more prone to shoe bite during hot weather. So, take care to choose your most comfortable footwear for the summers. Don’t go for anything that can create rashes, or is made of an uncomfortable material.
Go ahead and enjoy the summer. Wear your favourite dresses, but beware from those faux pas that could turn your great day into an awkward embarrassment in moments. Have a happy summer! 🙂
